Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment

NHS Plymouth would like to hear your views about our draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).

The PNA maps existing pharmaceutical provision against current and future needs.

It will be a basis for determining future pharmaceutical service provision and market entry to support local health need.

The PNA must consider:

  • The make-up of the population in local areas
  • The health of the population in local areas
  • The different kinds of pharmaceutical services that are currently provided by local area.

High quality pharmaceutical services may then be commissioned by NHS Plymouth  in a targeted and fair way.

In drawing together the PNA NHS Plymouth must consult with a wide range of stakeholders including the general public and therefore we would like to hear your views about our draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).

If you wish to comment on the PNA please use the PNA Consultation Reply Form below.

The full PNA document in draft form and all other documents are available at the bottom of this page.
